the project
Mission: Balance. To share Purna Yoga with others to support their living. To offer the cornerstone principles; physical practice to heal the body, breathwork to soothe the nerves, meditation to process emotion, nutrition and lifestyle to improve quality of living, and applied philosophy so that yoga becomes something you are not something you do.
Difference: The most qualified teachers in the world. Continued general, restorative, and therapeutic education of those teachers. The guidance of Aadil and Mirra Palkhivala, the Great Wall Rope system, deeply committed peer support, ethics and integrity, and the manifestation and subsequent embracing of the joy of living.
Space: A space to change: your body, your mind, and your yoga clothes. Located in a supporting Seattle neighborhood with a direction reaching well beyond the neighborhood boundaries. Two practice spaces under one roof. A full complement of yoga props so that poses fit students. An green, open, floor plan embracing clean lines and welcoming energy. An atmosphere contributing to the awareness practice that is Yoga. Look in on the neighborhood.
Class: A full schedule of classes meeting the needs of our students. Variety, diversity, challenge without sacrificing the essence of Yoga. You will always know what you're getting and that will be a consistency between what we teach and how we live.
